BIO: Dr. Harvey Slentz, Esq., M.A., J.D. is Professor of Business and Employment Law in the School of Business at Florida State College at Jacksonville.  He teaches Business Law, Employment Law, and Labor Relations Management in the bachelor’s degree Programs.

Dr. Slentz is a practicing attorney, licensed in Florida.  Dr. Slentz serves as a judge in the juvenile diversion program / Teen Court for St. Johns County, Florida, and provides pre-trial mediation services in the 4th Judicial Circuit.  He is also an EEOC-certified Investigator and Agency Decision Writer.  Prior to becoming a college professor, Dr. Slentz completed a 30-year career in professional and leadership roles and as senior executive/regional CEO with a $70 billion national service provider.

In that role, he negotiated and administered many labor-managements collective bargaining agreements, and was part of the national teams that prepared and conducted negotiations involving several hundred thousand unionized employees.
